Bronze with copper figure dressed with sanghati, decorated in incised fashion, with hands in dhyana mudra (meditation), and seated on a lotus throne. The face with urna is exceptionally well modelled. There is damage to the back of the curled headdress, overall surface degradation and a number of small holes – none of which detracts from the aesthetic appeal of the piece. Acquired in Southeast Asia during the early 1960s.
